Future events

Our main focus is to get riders out on their bikes. That is why we run regular rides during the week and at weekends. Of course a bike gives you the freedom to experience other places, here and abroad, and to see more of the world than is possible from a car or train – and certainly more than a plane!

The previous trips to the cols of Spain, Italy and France were popular and challenging. We also like to go off piste a little hence Morocco and Albania. One of our nicest trips was through the centre of France taking in Tours, Blois and Chartres.

As a membership based club we are always happy to hear where our members want to go and an oft-mentioned trip would be one to the battlefields of northern France. Where do you want to go?

The key is to take three steps: join the club, ride with us, sign up for a trip. You won’t regret it…

October 22nd 6pm

Glow ride starting at Thame Town Hall

Joining with the National Cycling UK initiative for a 5 mile ride with the aim of shining a light on the need for safer streets for women to cycle, with a special prize for the best decorated bike! (Open to all)

November 12th

An Evening with Phil Cavell

A relaxed and informal talk with the author of The Midlife Cyclist and The Cycling Addiction. (Members only)

December 19th

Christmas cake ride to Waterperry

A fun Christmassy ride followed by free coffee and cake. (Members only)

TRIPS

Cymru (Wales)
