Future events

Our main focus is to get riders out on their bikes. That is why we run regular rides during the week and at weekends. Of course a bike gives you the freedom to experience other places, here and abroad, and to see more of the world than is possible from a car or train – and certainly more than a plane!
The previous trips to the cols of Spain, Italy and France were popular and challenging. We also like to go off piste a little hence Morocco and Albania. One of our nicest trips was through the centre of France taking in Tours, Blois and Chartres.

The future is ours and once you join you can have access to projected trip which ride across Portugal, visit the mountains of Morocco or join our annual ride around the Isle of Wight. One member takes us frequently to Wales which provides spectacular scenery, great roads and (sometimes) nice weather. In March next year we are circling Eryri (Snowdon).

As a membership based club we are always happy to hear where our members want to go and an oft-mentioned trip would be one to the battlefields of northern France. Where do you want to go?

The key is to take three steps: join the club, ride with us, sign up for a trip. You won’t regret it…

All the details for these events will be found on the Team app

Portugal E2E N2 Cycling Tour

from Sat, 9 May 2026 to Sat, 16 May 2026.

This will be a 738km, 6 day ride through Portugal which is one of the least explored countries in Europe, and a true hidden gem for cyclists. During this trip you will traverse the country from North to South, starting from Chaves in the North and finishing in Faro on the south Algarve coast.

The trip is run by Paradise Cycling, who look after us on the road and organise accommodation and transfers each day. They are a great friendly team who will look after us very well!

Outbound flights are to Porto with a transfer to Chaves. Return flights are from Faro

France

from Wed, 1 Jul 2026 to Wed, 8 Jul 2026

The plan is simple. We drive cars with bikes to Calais, use Channel Tunnel then drive to a town in France around 3-4 hours away and then complete two rides in that locale, move on to the next town, same again, then leave for our third stop driving back to Calais from there. It is dependent on having enough cars and room for the number of people and cyclists who sign up
